Matt and Ann's got married near Matt's family farm in the heart of the Eastern Cape. The ceremony was at the historic St Peter's Cathedral, followed by a jaunt through the fields in a nearby farm, and then the lovely reception in the Sidbury Sports Club. With family and friends from all over the world, beautiful warm sunshine, and the most lovely couple, so clearly in love, it was a very special day to be a part of.Read More
This wedding was incredibly special for so many reasons - it was a reunion of so many wonderful friends, in a place very special to many of our hearts - Rebel's Rus in Cape St Francis. Sarah, the bride, took us on many holiday adventures here, my hubby and I came on honeymoon here, and now we were all back to celebrate Sarah and Matthew's wedding.Read More
I met Carla and Graham earlier this year to do their engagement shoot and get to know them a bit and it was pretty clear from the outset that they weren't too keen on posing for the camera and liked to keep things as natural as possible. They emphasised that they would love me to shoot the wedding in a "ninja" documentary style - capturing moments as they happened, rather than lots of posing - my absolute favourite request from a bride and groom!
The wedding was definitely a favourite so far - the weather was perfect, Carla and Graham had organised the most beautiful event down to the smallest detail, and yet were so relaxed and enjoyed their day, and the venue, Olive Rock, was absolutely gorgeous.Read More
Abby and Etienne celebrated their marriage, South African style, at the beautiful Overture restaurant on the Hidden Valley wine estate. After tying the knot at home in the UK, they had another ceremony here in South Africa for local friends and family.Read More
Sara and Dave's wedding was a small but beautiful one on a stunning sunny day in the lovely Republic of Hout Bay at Riverside Estate.
Sara and Dave met at a difficult intersection in both their lives, but what a wonderful thing that they did! Together they really do light each other up and bring out the best in one another. There was so much love evident at their wedding, not just for one another but also from their families.Read More
If I had to describe Ali and Marcus's wedding in a few words, I would say it was an intimate, aqua occasion. From Ali's blue eyes which Marcus mentioned in his speech, to the crystal clear Langebaan lagoon, the table decorations, Ali's toenails, even the steps of the Churchhaven chapel - aqua was definitely the theme of the this intimate day.Read More
This is without a doubt the most beautiful wedding I have ever photographed. I know I'm probably biased because it was my brother-in-law getting married but it was just such a fun family farm wedding which I loved being a part of.
Dan and Tessa chose to get married on the beautiful Aswater farm just outside of Prince Albert. The ceremony was in a beautiful poplar grove and their reception was a relaxed affair, sprawled across the lawns of the farmhouse.Read More
Megan planned her fairytale wedding day down to the very last beautiful detail and it truly was a very warm but very beautiful day at Cape Point Vineyards. It was so wonderful to be part of a real family wedding - from getting ready where Meg and Russ were surrounded by family and friends, to a beautiful ceremony where Russ and Meg were joined in marriage but they also had a sand pouring ceremony to symbolise two families becoming one. The reception was interesting as we had a little bit of load shedding to reckon with but that didn't stop anyone from having a good time. Moving speeches, a few tears, lots of laughs, crazy wedding games, and a family dance-off made for a wild night. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Dorning!Read More
What an interesting cultural experience this wedding was ! I had the privilege of being the second shooter for Ashley Banks at Joyanna and Caleb's wedding in Three Hills, Alberta. It was an amazing wedding and such fun to shoot; Caleb and his family are from Samoa and he was marrying Joyanna, a country girl from the prairies of Alberta. The wedding was a family affair on her beautiful family farm, thanks for having me along Ashley.Read More
